Job Brief
The AOC Operations Intelligence Officer is responsible for managing the operation of critical communications, detection, and weapons systems crucial for air, ground, and naval operations. This role demands a high level of expertise in formulating and implementing emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters, as well as coordinating emergency response teams. The ideal candidate will evaluate command center information, provide high-level military and government reporting, and ensure operational readiness of surveillance and detection systems. Successful candidates will possess strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operation of communications systems between air, naval, and ground forces.
- Formulate and implement emergency response plans for natural and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate and direct emergency response teams and agencies during crises.
- Evaluate command center information and determine the need for high-level military reporting.
- Operate and manage surveillance and detection systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems.
- Collaborate with military and government agencies to ensure effective communication and operational coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in military operations or intelligence analysis.
- Strong understanding of communications, detection, and weapons systems.
- Ability to formulate strategic response plans and manage crisis situations effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Familiarity with military protocols and operational best practices.
- Relevant certifications in operations management or emergency response are a plus.
