Job Brief

As an Analytical Chemist, you will conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses in laboratory settings to ensure product quality, enhance process control, and contribute to new product development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in analytical chemistry techniques, instrumentation, and experimental design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive innovation and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses using advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods to support product development and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data, preparing detailed reports of findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
  • Collaborate with scientific teams to troubleshoot issues related to product formulation and analysis.
  • Document all experimental procedures and results in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytical chemistry technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field; Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a laboratory setting, specifically in analytical chemistry.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, and spectroscopy.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data analysis software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present findings.
