Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues in aircraft systems.
  • Adjust and repair malfunctioning avionics and electrical equipment to meet safety standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed on aircraft systems.
  • Stay updated with advancements in avionics technology and participate in ongoing training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in avionics or electrical systems preferred.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an airplane electrician or in a related role within the aviation industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, avionics, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
