Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Utilize various hand tools and power tools to shape, cut, and modify sheet metal to meet specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and modifications for compliance and quality assurance.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aircraft maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, materials, and assembly techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment specific to metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and safety standards associated with aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
