Job Brief
The Aircraft Photographic Equipment Repairer is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and adjustment of cameras and photographic equipment specifically designed for aircraft use. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various types of photographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, and related accessories.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal performance of photographic systems.
- Test and calibrate cameras and video equipment to meet operational specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment performance.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in photographic equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in equipment handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a photographic equipment technician or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of camera systems, photographic technology, and electronic components.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for both digital and analog equipment.
- Technical certification in photographic equipment repair or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
