Job Brief
The Airborne and Air Delivery Specialist plays a critical role in executing various aerial missions, including combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue operations. Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment, ensuring effective satellite linkages and jamming of enemy communications.
- Conduct comprehensive preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard systems and equipment.
- Manage and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Operate in-flight refueling systems following established protocols for safety and efficiency.
- Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures during all phases of flight.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
- Conduct precise cargo and personnel drops in accordance with mission requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure mission objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Airborne and Air Delivery Specialist or in a similar aviation role.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, weapons, and defensive operations.
- Certification in airborne operations and relevant safety procedures.
- Ability to operate complex aircraft communication and detection equipment.
- Expertise in conducting thorough inspections and managing emergency protocols.
- Experience with cargo and personnel deployment techniques in airborne environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with crew members.
