Job Brief
As an Air Battle Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and directing in-flight operations to ensure the successful execution of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This position requires extensive experience with aircraft communication, radar systems, and tactical operations. A strong understanding of military protocols, along with exceptional leadership and decision-making skills, are essential to coordinate missions effectively and ensure mission success.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-flight duties to manage and direct air operations, ensuring mission objectives are met.
- Operate aircraft communications and radar equipment, including satellite linkages and electronic countermeasures.
- Direct the use of aircraft weapons and defensive systems to engage enemy threats.
- Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to maintain operational readiness.
- Coordinate and oversee cargo and personnel drops in compliance with mission requirements.
- Monitor airspace and provide situational awareness to flight crews and command personnel.
- Evaluate mission effectiveness and provide feedback for tactical improvements.
- Collaborate with ground and air units to ensure seamless operational integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a military or aviation environment with a focus on air operations.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft communication systems, radar technology, and electronic warfare.
- Ability to interpret complex data and make real-time decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective teamwork.
- Familiarity with military operational procedures and protocols.
- Relevant certifications in air battle management or related fields are preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to assess mission parameters and outcomes.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments with changing mission priorities.
