Job Brief

As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, constructing, and testing cutting-edge aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. Responsibilities

  • Conduct experimental tests and simulations to analyze aerodynamic performance and validate design concepts.
  • Utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to model airflow and assess aerodynamic behavior.
  • Perform material evaluations to determine suitability for various aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aerodynamic solutions into overall vehicle designs.
  • Recommend enhancements in testing equipment and methodologies to improve design efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in aerodynamics analysis and testing within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and aerodynamic modeling tools.
  • Hands-on experience with wind tunnel testing and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with aerospace design standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.
